Beyond music, Geraldine is an accomplished screenwriter and visual artist. Her screenplays focus on character-driven, intimate storytelling, often centered on family dynamics and emotional recalibration. Her visual art—exhibited in gallery settings—extends the same themes through color, atmosphere, and gesture, offering another expression of her narrative voice.

Whether through song, film, or canvas, Geraldine’s work is driven by a singular intention: to create emotionally resonant experiences—pieces people can return to, year after year.

A heartfelt Christmas ballad about love, distance, and the hope of reuniting again.

“Every Christmas” is an emotional, cinematic holiday song written by Geraldine Santiago, inspired in 2020 when she and many other families couldn't gather together for the Christmas holidays. The song captures the longing, warmth, and pure hope we feel when loved ones are far away — yet still present in our hearts.

With gentle piano, soft orchestration, and poetic lyrics, “Every Christmas” brings the spirit of togetherness, even across distance.

How "Every Christmas" came to Life

Behind the music… ❄️🎶

“Every Christmas” didn’t start out as a song.
It began as a small poem I wrote one winter night while looking out at the snow-covered North Shore mountains—just a quiet moment of reflection about how magical the season feels when families come together.

I had no intention of turning it into a full track. But the words kept growing, the imagery kept getting stronger, and soon I could almost hear the melody in my head. I used an AI melody tool to sketch the first draft, then spent weeks refining the lyrics—line by line—trying to capture the softness of first snowfall, the warmth of home, and that old-fashioned Christmas feeling we cherish.

Once the bones of the song felt right, something incredible happened:
I connected with UK producer Steven A. Williams, whose orchestral arrangements brought the song to life in a way I never expected. Steven layered in gentle piano, strings, and a cinematic glow that made the song feel like it belonged in a holiday film.

We worked across time zones, sending ideas back and forth, adjusting vocal textures, and polishing every detail. By the time the final mix arrived, I knew it had become something special—something bigger than the little poem I started with.

And now, seeing “Every Christmas” being selected, shared, and embraced…
It feels like the song has found its home.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. More magic is coming in the new year. ✨🎄❄️

Geraldine Santiago is a heart-driven creator whose artistic life is built on determination, reinvention, and a belief that every door is worth knocking on. A multi-disciplinary Vancouver-based songwriter, author, and visual storyteller, Geraldine approaches her craft with an unwavering sense of possibility: there is nothing to lose by trying, but everything to gain by daring. This conviction fuels her growing presence in the Canadian music landscape, particularly in the world of original Christmas music where her writing blends nostalgia, emotional depth, and cinematic warmth.

Her journey is rooted in resilience — a quality she proudly credits to her daughters. From a young age, they auditioned for film, television, and voice-over roles in Vancouver, facing constant rejection with remarkable grace. Every “no” was simply another step toward a future “yes.” Their spirits never cracked; instead, their persistence led to commercials and voice-over roles ranging from commercials to film, and they gradually built their own creative paths. Watching their courage and refusal to give up taught Geraldine one of her greatest lessons: tenacity is not loud — it is steady, humble, and relentless. Their example gave her the inner grit to pursue songwriting with the same bold optimism.

That spirit carried her through the development of her original holiday ballad “Every Christmas,” which has begun gaining national traction. The song was featured in UpHere Magazine, praised by independent music curators across Canada, and earned a place on Yangaroo’s Top 10 Indie and Most Active Indies lists. On December 1, 2025, “Every Christmas” was recognized as one of the Top Indie tracks in Canada, strengthening Geraldine’s visibility as a rising songwriter within the holiday genre.

Her expanding catalogue includes the jazzy, uplifting “It Already Feels Like Christmas”, the tender and reflective ballad,  “Wishing You a Merry Christmas”, a jazzy upbeat tempo sing along song “Christmas Swingtime”  and a French adaptation titled “Chaque Noël.” Each piece reflects her signature blend of warmth, nostalgia, and emotional sincerity.

Whether writing lyrics, pitching songs to industry legends, designing artwork, or building her creative brand from the ground up, Geraldine moves boldly toward opportunity rather than waiting for it to appear. She is guided not by fear of rejection, but by faith in her work and the quiet certainty that even the smallest attempt can open unexpected doors.

Geraldine Santiago continues to build a body of work centred on hope, family, and the universal longing for connection. Her story is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and the unstoppable power of believing that it is never too late to chase what lights your heart.
