FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Vancouver Songwriter Geraldine Santiago Unwraps New Holiday Single “Every Christmas”
A luminous new Christmas ballad released November 15, 2025 and now streaming worldwide

Vancouver, BC – November 30, 2025 – Vancouver-based songwriter and storyteller Geraldine Santiago announces the release of her new holiday single, “Every Christmas,” now available on all major streaming platforms as of November 15, 2025.

“Every Christmas” is a heartfelt winter ballad that captures the magic of the year’s first snowfall—that brief, glowing moment when the world feels quiet, hopeful, and brand new. With imagery of snow-covered landscapes, golden light, and families coming together, the song wraps listeners in the warmth of nostalgia while looking toward a brighter, more connected future.

Produced and arranged by Steven A. Williams (Chapel Studios, UK), “Every Christmas” blends cinematic piano, lush orchestration, and choral textures with Santiago’s classic, story-driven lyricism. The result is a timeless Christmas song that feels at home beside both modern holiday playlists and beloved standards.

“I kept thinking about how the first snowfall over the mountains feels—calm, blue, and full of possibility,” says Santiago. “I wanted ‘Every Christmas’ to shine like that moment, when hearts soften, families reunite, and we remember that hope and kindness are what truly light up the season.”

Since its release, “Every Christmas” has begun gaining early traction with independent curators and radio tastemakers in Canada and abroad. The track has been featured on several Spotify playlists and downloaded by multiple radio stations for holiday rotation, with positive feedback highlighting its emotional depth, cinematic feel, and classic-yet-fresh Christmas sound.

The single has also been shortlisted for sync consideration by multiple music supervisors, production companies, and A&R teams with several industry partners selecting the track for further review—opening doors for future placement opportunities in film, TV, advertising, and seasonal programming.

“Every Christmas” is part of Santiago’s growing catalogue of seasonal songs, including “It Already Feels Like Christmas” and “Wishing You a Merry Christmas,” further establishing her as an emerging voice in contemporary Christmas music.

Outside of songwriting, Geraldine Santiago is a multi-disciplinary creative:

A published author of the children’s picture books “Luisa and the Magic Star” and “Luisa and the Star Thief,” both written in lyrical, poetic verse

A visual artist, exhibiting in local galleries and integrating winter imagery and storytelling into her work

Across all of her mediums, Santiago is driven by the same core impulse: to tell stories that bring people closer together—especially during the holidays.

“Christmas has always been about connection for me,” she adds. “If this song can make someone feel a little less alone, a little more hopeful—or remind them of the magic of that first snow—then it’s done its job.”

Every Christmas: A Song About Light, Love, and the Magic of the First Snowfall

Every Christmas: A Song About Light, Love, and the Magic of the First Snowfall

There’s something about the first snowfall of the season that feels almost sacred.
The world turns quiet, the sky glows pale blue, and the air holds a kind of soft magic—like the universe is whispering that something beautiful is about to begin.

That feeling is what inspired my song, “Every Christmas.”

I wanted to capture the moment when winter transforms everything it touches: when rooftops turn white, when the mountains shimmer under morning light, and when that first flurry makes us believe—if only for a second—in miracles.

But more than that, I wanted to write a song about connection, warmth, and hope.

The Heart Behind the Lyrics

At its core, Every Christmas is a wish.

A wish for joy.
A wish for unity.
A wish for peace that reaches every corner of our lives.

Lines like:

“I wish that every Christmas shines
Like the year’s first falling snow…”

reflect this deep longing for moments that feel pure, gentle, and full of wonder.

The song’s imagery is rooted in real experiences—watching the North Shore mountains light up with the year’s first snow, feeling the serenity of winter blue skies, and sensing that beautiful hush that only December brings. It’s a reminder that even in a fast, complicated world, there are still simple blessings all around us.

A Song for Families, Hearts, and Homes

One of the most important parts of the song is its wish for togetherness:

“I wish when Christmas comes around
Our families all unite…”

Christmas is often the time we feel closeness the most—and also the time we feel the distance the most.
This lyric is for anyone who’s waiting to reunite, missing someone, or cherishing the warmth of family traditions.

It’s a gentle reminder that Christmas isn’t just lights and gifts—it’s the people who make the season meaningful.

🎶 The Sound: Soft, Cinematic, and Glowing

The melody of Every Christmas is intentionally soothing and cinematic.
It’s meant to feel like stepping into a warm room after a long walk in the snow—comforting, glowing, familiar.

The instrumental arrangement, with its gentle piano lines, shimmering pads, and uplifting harmonies, mirrors the imagery of snowfall and golden winter light. Listeners often describe it as “peaceful,” “calming,” and “magical”—exactly the atmosphere I hoped to create.

❄️ Why I Wrote It

This song came from a simple thought:
What if every Christmas could feel as magical as the very first snowfall of the year?

That moment—when the world stands still, when the air feels lighter, when the sky has a glow as soft as a wish—is the inspiration for every line. It’s a poetic wish for a world where joy arrives gently, where hope shines bright, and where every heart can find a little peace.
